Anthony Wayne Youth Foundation

AW Youth Tennis summer program is a great starting experience for those kids interested in the sport of tennis.  This program is designed to learn tennis fundamentals. The AWHS coaches and players are ready to show how fun this game can be and teach participants the skills necessary to begin basic match play. This program is available to boys and girls in K-8th grade for the upcoming school year (2024-2025) and from in the Anthony Wayne and surrounding areas.

LOCATION
All sessions will take place at the Anthony Wayne High School Tennis Courts
Located behind the Junior High between the football and soccer fields.

Red Ball: K-2nd Grade (6-8 years old)
This program is for beginner tennis players between the ages of 6-8 years old. This program offers a 6 week season at one 45 minute lesson per week.

Option 1: Tuesdays from 5:30pm-6:15pm
June 11, 18, 25, July 9, 16, 23 (NOTE: Off July 2nd)

Orange/Yellow/Green Ball: 3rd-8th Grade (9-13 years old)

This program is for beginner to intermediate tennis players between the ages of 9-13 years old. Players will be placed at the appropriate level after the first session. This program offers a 6 week season at one 90 minute lesson per week.

WHAT TO BRING

Rackets & Tennis balls will be provided. Wear athletic clothing, hat, and tennis shoes. Bring water bottle.

$80/Player

We aim to keep our player fees as low as possible through our partnership with AWYF, sponsorships, and fundraising efforts. Program fees include a t-shirt for each player, racket (first year only), tennis balls, Team first aid kits, insurance-liability coverage, coaches background checks, and facility rental fees.

Registration closes on Monday May 12, 2024.
All late registrations will be added to a waiting list and a $25 late fee will be added to the registration fee if a spot becomes available.

Interested in volunteering?

This season we are looking for volunteers assist with clinics. We have skill coaches available to run the clinics and teach skills. Leave your name and email in your child's registration stating you would like to volunteer. You will be contacted prior to the first session.
