2024 AWFC Beginner Summer Fishing Program

We are excited to return this summer program to share the wonderful world of fishing!  Our goal is not to treat this as a competitive team but rather to teach some fundamentals and general knowledge about fishing and the outdoors. As avid anglers, we know that skills can vary from no experience to experienced. We will cater to all skill levels and “teach” accordingly. This program is available to boys and girls in 3rd-12th Grade (2024-2025 School Year) within the Anthony Wayne School District and surrounding areas.

 

NO fishing knowledge is needed to participate in this program!

 

Our young anglers will be able to participate in our Tuesday session OR Wednesday Session.
Each session will be capped at 20 kids.

WHAT TO BRING

Filled water bottle and sun screen/protection. Beginner Pole, tackle box, and weekly bait will be provided.
NOTE: Parents are responsible for all transportation to and from each session location.

 

 

PROGRAM COST

$80/Angler

Payment Plan is available at check out

 

We aim to keep our player fees as low as possible through our partnership with AWYF, sponsorships, and fundraising efforts. Program fees include a t-shirt for each player, beginner pole & tackle box, weekly bait, volunteer fishing supplies, first aid kits, insurance-liability coverage, coaches background checks, and facility rental fees.

 

Registration closes on May 17, 2024.
All late registrations will be added to a waiting list. 

 

 

Interested in volunteering?

This season we are looking for volunteers assist with each session. Leave your name and email in your child's registration stating you would like to volunteer. You will be contacted prior to the first session.
