Tryouts are offered for FREE to all boys and girls in 3rd-6th grade the live within the Anthony Wayne School District for the 2024-2025 school year. The Anthony Wayne Junior Generals Travel Volleyball program is designed to develop and teach all players the same volleyball language, fundamentals, and strategies to build continuity and consistency within each level of the Anthony Wayne Generals volleyball program from 3rd grade to 12th grade. This program is geared for those individuals with a more advanced skill level and wish to further their development in a competitive environment.

4:00pm-5:30pm - 6th Graders
**Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in**
Sessions will take place in the Anthony Wayne High School Gymnasium
**Players are required to attend the tryout session to be eligible for team placement.**
**Try-out sessions are closed to parents.**
What to bring: Players should wear comfortable athletic clothing and tennis shoes. Bring a filled water bottle. Knee pads are not required but highly recommended.

Parents will be notified via email with team placement no later than August 6, 2024
Response deadline to position acceptance or denial is August 8, 2024
Specific try-out information for parents and participants will be provided via email PRIOR to the first try-out date.
Game Information: 3rd/4th Grade Teams will play Saturday morning games at Defiance Volleyball Club (DVC). 5th/6th Grade teams will play Saturday morning games at Defiance Volleyball Club (DVC), Monday evening games at Toledo Volleyball Club (TVC), and one HOME tournament on October 19th. Specific dates will be shared during the parent meeting once teams are finalized.
Program Cost: Player fees will be approximately $360-$440/player. Payment plans will be available. Initial payment must be completed by August 9, 2024.
